Cinnamon Pull Aparts

Your Family’s New Breakfast Favorite

What you’ll need:

  • Brown sugar (1lb)

  • Cinnamon – 2.5T

  • ½ c butter, melted but NOT hot

  • Muffin baking pan (cupcake inserts not recommended)

  • 2-3T maple syrup (optional)

  • Small cookie scoop (recommended, see video demo) or teaspoon

————————

1.     Coat muffin tin cavities with butter or spray release.  Preheat oven to 315F.

2.     Remove dough from refrigerator.  Mix brown sugar and cinnamon together in medium bowl until blended well.

3.     Using cookie scoop or spoon, dip in melted butter and scoop out a small amount of dough (about 1 rounded teaspoon).  Drop dough directly into bowl of brown sugar and cinnamon.  With hands, gently lift dough and turn to completely coat in sugar-cinnamon.  Drop into prepared baking pan.  Dough bakes up best when balls are in a single layer – about 5-7 dough balls/cavity.  When cavities are filled with dough, drizzle about a bit of maple syrup over each one – ½-1tsp each.

4.     Bake for 20-25 minutes.  Center will bounce back up when depressed gently when done.

5.     Allow to cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.
