Flatbread

This dough is ideal for a soft, flexible, freshly baked wrap for amazing sandwiches.

What you’ll need:

  • Parchment paper sprayed with release

  • Griddle WITHOUT grates/ridges – flat is best

————————

1.    Preheat griddle on medium heat

2.     Spray parchment with release.

3.     Using same process with dough as for pizza, pinch off about 2oz (size of a golf ball) of dough.

4.     Press dough out in desired shape very thin on parchment (less than ¼” thick as dough will double in thickness).

5.     Place parchment on hot griddle

6.     Cook until you see nice brown spots on the bottom and dough is appearing drier on the top.  Flip dough over (you can remove parchment or keep it in place to prevent cross-contamination if desired).

7.     Cook until second side is has brown spots

8.     Remove from griddle and cool a few minutes before using

Note: Cut in strips or triangles for an excellent naan-style bread for hummus or olive oil dip.
